Bulletin to ThinkTech Hosts - Week of January 23, 2022

Dear ThinkTech Hosts:

Host Bulletin, Week of January 23, 2022.

Cameras

Place your device on a flat, stable surface to prevent camera shaking. You can use a stand or tape to hold it steady. To improve your video, consider getting a USB webcam. We recommend the Logitech C920S, but there are many others that will do the job:

Clothing

Avoid wearing white shirts/tops - they can change your video color or blow out the image. If you use Zoom's Blur background, please wear something that distinguishes you from the background and avoid white or seersucker clothing.

Mics

Don’t accidentally cover your microphone with your notes or anything else. It creates a muffled audio. Clutter can be distracting and noisy, so keep the area around your microphone clear.  Mics will also pick up even light table taping causing background noise.

Hosts Page

Check out our new host photo and bio page on our website https://thinktechhawaii.com/thinktech-hosts/.  Thanks to those who have contributed.  If you have not, please send them to us as soon as possible. This is a great resource for guests who’d like to know more about you as host.

Questions, please contact hayley@thinktechhawaii.com.
