Distinguished Guest Nominations

Last chance to nominate one of your guests from your live shows in February! Click here to nominate one of your talk show guests to be a Distinguished Guest. Nominations close tomorrow, March 7 and voting will begin on March 10. The results of the election will be posted in our email advisories on March 20th. The winning candidate for Distinguished Guest will be profiled in a short video for our entr’acte, overnight and social media.

Self-Advertising

As you know, ThinkTech dedicates time and effort to promote every show, host and guest to advance our mission of raising public awareness. We do this across all our various platforms. We also display the websites for you and your guests in the Show Information Form you submit.  Our mission does not include doing commercial promotion or advertising.  Please therefore refrain from commercial promotion or advertising in your shows. 

Graphics / No Screen Sharing

Please submit any graphics you want to refer to before your show and our engineers will display them during the show using the labels you provide.  Screen sharing those graphics on Zoom reduces our streaming video quality, so please do not display graphics by screen sharing.  Please take a look at our Graphics Guidelines before submitting your graphics, especially point #5 dealing with copyright. We cannot accept third-party graphics, video clips or music unless you provide the permission form there. This is, of course, to avoid claims by copyright owners and problems with upload platforms.

Daylight Savings Time

It’s that time of year again! Hawaii does not change but most of the mainland will move one hour forward with Daylight Savings Time beginning next Sunday, March 13.  That means that the time in East Coast cities, for example, will be 6 hours later than Hawaii rather than the current 5-hour difference.  Keep this in mind when scheduling shows, and make sure your guests keep it in mind, too.
