Graphics

If you or you guest personally took the photo or clip, i.e, with your camera or smartphone, no problem.  Because you found the photo on the internet or social media, however, does not entitled us to use it on a show.

If you are using a photo or clip taken or owned by someone else (including a company or organization photo), get the email agreement of an authorized person to use it on the show.  Send their email agreement to shows@thinktechhawaii.com.

On a Google search for a photo or clip, go to images, Tools, Usage Rights, Creative Commons (and comply with the CC terms) to filter the photos.

On a Yahoo search for a photo or clip, go to Any License, Public Domain to filter the photos.

Here is a list of free stock photos and clips you can use:

If you want to open an account and pay for some photos or clips, check these sites out:

Our engineers will always ask you where you got the photos and clips you want to use, so be prepared to tell them your sources.

As you know, we can take up to 15 photos and short clips (a couple of minutes) in a show, and they do enhance the production values, eye candy and educational experience of the viewer.

Happy hunting!  Let us know if you have questions or would like to discuss these sources or any particular photo or clip.

Host identification

Here’s a scan of an example business card, and you can go to Professional Image (or any other such printer) and use this as a template.  Your title would be Talk Show Host.  Note the PRESS watermark, if they can do that it will help you.  Please use your own cell phone and email, of course.  And the suite number for the studio is 603, not our old suite at 610.

And here’s a graphic identifying you as a ThinkTech host which you might want to use on the front or back of the card and/or on your email.

Thanks for making the time to be at the meeting.  We look forward to seeing you.  Every Day Better.
